Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations… teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.— Matthew 28:19–20 (NKJV)
Personal ministry is the most successful work done for God. It is the work that Christ carried on when He was upon this earth. — Ellen G. White, The Review and Herald, February 11, 1902
Personal Ministry is the heart of soul-winning work, following the example of Jesus Christ who ministered to individuals one-on-one during His earthly ministry. It involves building personal relationships, meeting practical needs, sharing Bible truths, and lovingly leading people to a saving knowledge of Christ. As Ellen G. White stated, “Personal ministry is the most successful work done for God,” and as Christ commanded, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Through home visits, Bible studies, acts of kindness, and genuine friendship, every church member is called to be a personal minister—reaching others where they are and guiding them to Jesus.
