Did you know a special blessing is attached to giving and returning tithes & offerings faithfully? The bible reminds us that blessed is the hand that gives than the hand that receives (Acts 20:35). Moreover, the returning of the tithe is but the acknowledgment of God’s ownership, an act of worship rendered to Him who is the Author of every blessing. — Ellen G. - Go to the M-PESA app, or SIM toolkit, or any other mobile banking app (mobile banking apps can also be accessed through USSD code depending on your bank).
- Open the app and click “Lipa na Mpesa” in case of MPESA. Then click on the Pay bill option. In the case of mobile banking, such as the Cooperative Bank, you can select Pay bills and Services.
- Then enter the Pay bill number as 4162109.
- In place of Account, you enter the purpose to which you are giving. For example, if you want to give towards tithes, offerings, and development all in one transaction, you can write the account name as: tithe10000,Offer8000,Dev20000 then hit okay/enter.
- You will be prompted to enter the amount you want to pay. Here, you will type the total amount of the individual amounts you wrote in the account name above. In case of the example above, the amount will be KShs38000. The hit okay.
